Laura Linney

Laura Linney was born in New York in New York on February 5, 1964. She is an American actress who is known for her capacity to play powerful characters that are at risk. Linney was born into the theatre of her family, with her father Romulus Linney was a playwright. Linney studied at the Arts Theatre School at Moscow, then graduated with her M.F.A. from Juilliard School. New York City was her first stop in 1990. She immediately began performing on Broadway and eventually receiving praise for her performance on stage in Six Degrees of Separation and Hedda Gabler.
